MEET JILLIAN
Since shooting my first wedding in 2007, there hasn’t been an unexpected surprise or crazy work condition I haven’t experienced. Pouring rain, hurricane-level winds, pitch-black darkness, global pandemics—you name it, I’ve navigated it...and I absolutely love it.
As someone who has an innately calm and positive demeanor, I can pivot and adapt quickly without missing a moment. I have extensive technical knowledge and a deeply artistic approach—but I’m never afraid to push the boundaries or try something new in the name of getting that one epic shot (you know the one).
When I think about what sets me apart, I think about my knack for connecting with couples and my calming presence. More so than my extensive experience or technical training, it’s the things you can’t teach—the ability to read energy, adapt intuitively,
and cultivate an atmosphere of ease—
that make for the exceptional images you deserve.
Before I was ever documenting elegant celebrations, I was captivated by the quiet, natural ways people express love — gestures and details so authentic they deserve to be preserved as part of their story.
As a child, I was the one staging fashion shoots with my friends, draping them in props and pretending my camera held the power of a glossy magazine spread. Years later in college, after countless shifts in majors, I discovered photojournalism and instantly fell in love with the art of storytelling through images. It was the perfect harmony of my deep curiosity about people and my passion for creating art — and from that moment forward, I knew I had found my calling.
